1. Who Can Sell on KalaSaathi?
We welcome:
- Individual artisans / weavers with valid Handloom / Handicraft / Pehchaan ID
- Self-help groups (SHGs)
- Cooperatives / Apex societies / Producer companies
- Registered businesses making handicrafts, handlooms, ODOP products, or traditional art-based items
2. Documents You’ll Need
For All Sellers
- Email ID (active)
- Mobile number
- Passport size photo (optional, recommended)
- PAN card (for tax purposes)
- Bank account details (passbook front page or cancelled cheque)
- Product photographs (for later upload)
For Artisans
- Handloom / Handicraft / Pehchaan ID (upload scanned copy)
For Organizations
- Registration certificate of the organization
- Nodal officer authorization letter (if applicable)
For GST / Tax
- GST Certificate (if you have GST)
- OR Enrollment ID (for sellers below GST threshold)
File Requirements
- Formats: .jpeg / .jpg / .png / .pdf
- Max size: 500 KB per file
3. Step-by-Step Seller Registration
Step 1 – Account Info
- Enter your email ID and create a strong password
- Confirm the password
- Click “Next” to save and continue
Step 2 – Basic Info
- Select your Seller Type (Artisan or Organization)
- Fill required fields and upload supporting documents
- If Artisan: Enter Pehchaan ID
- If Organization: Enter registration details
Step 3 – Seller Details
- Select your product category (“Deals In”)
- Enter PAN & upload scan
- Choose your Taxpayer Type: Regular GST / Composition GST / Non-GST (Enrollment ID)
- Upload GST certificate if applicable
- Fill MD/CEO and Nodal Officer details if you’re an organization
Step 4 – Shop Info
- Choose your shop name (this will appear on KalaSaathi storefront)
Step 5 – Communication Address
- Enter full address for invoices
- Tick “Same as permanent address” if applicable
Step 6 – Payment Details
- Enter bank account details
- Upload passbook front page or cancelled cheque
Step 7 – Seller Manager & Consent
- Confirm you manage packaging & shipping
- Accept Terms & Conditions
- Click “Submit” to finish
4. After Registration
- You’ll receive a confirmation email
- KalaSaathi team will verify your documents
- Once approved, you’ll get access to your Seller Dashboard
- From the dashboard, you can:
- Add products
- Manage stock
- View orders
- Track payments
5. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Yes. If you are below the GST threshold, you can sell with an Enrollment ID. However, you may be limited to intra-state sales.
Visit https://pehchan.indiancrafts.gov.in and apply. You’ll need Aadhaar, product photos, and basic details.
Only authentic handloom, handicraft, ODOP, and traditional products from Madhya Pradesh are allowed.
Payments are transferred directly to your registered bank account after order completion and return window closure.
You’ll receive an email with the reason and steps to correct and resubmit.
There’s no limit, but each product must have clear photos, description, and pricing.
